Trelleborg Unveils its Innovative Agricultural TW Rim at Agritechnica 2019
At Agritechnica 2019, Trelleborg launches an innovative TW rim profile, for modern and large agricultural equipment, such as tractors, combines and harvesters. Its advanced and optimized geometry facilitates the rim mounting for large agricultural tires, making it easier, safer and faster. The tire is guided towards proper positioning, reducing the bead seating time and preventing the risk of the tire being stuck in the middle of the bead seat area.

Trelleborg CTIS+ Inside
Trelleborg and Dana jointly develop advanced Central Tire Inflation Pressure System for the agricultural machinery industry
Trelleborg and Dana Incorporated have jointly developed a revolutionary Central Tire Inflation (CTIS) system for the agricultural machinery industry. The concept of the new CTIS system will be displayed at Agritechnica 2019 (November 10th – November 16th). Named CTIS+ Inside, the full OEM integrated central pressure control system will enable tractor drivers to inflate or deflate tire pressures directly from the tractor cabin, according to the recommended pressure calculated by the advanced Trelleborg Load Calculator (TLC) software.

Trelleborg CTIS+. The right pressure, at the right time, in the right place.
New Trelleborg CTIS+ Inside is an OE integrated pressure control system jointly developed with Dana Incorporated. The system allows to inflate or deflate tires pressure directly from the cabin of the tractor, with a touch of a button.
TLC PLus Kit
The TLC Plus KIT integrates the App with TPMS sensors (which are mounted on the tire valves), and a gateway that enables data transmission to mobile devices.
TLC Plus fleet management
Thanks to cloud technology, the tools permit the management of tractor fleets remotely, allowing farmers to assess whether the machines are working with the appropriate pressure from their office. This configuration ensures maximum safety and efficiency for operations on mega-farms and for contractors, who operate with large fleets of machines.

Adopting the right pressure can reduce farming variable costs by over 20%. Indeed, the right tire pressure reduces fuel consumption, while increasing traction power and crop yields, protecting and enhancing the modern farming business.
